Plant Day organised by the teaching staff of the Master Plant Biology and Biotechnology (BBP)

Like every year, the teaching staff of the BBP Master has planned a sweet program for the students of the Bordeaux University  interested in the Plant World. This event brought together students of bachelors, Masters and PhD students on the same site The Green Campus  in order to  discover job opportunity links with the BBP Master.
Representatives from three regional companies, some of whom were former students, presented their company and associated trades. Céline Bournonville from Promete company (former student from BBP Master and former PhD student of UMR Fruit Biology and Pathology) presented its business in Promete as pathologist. Sylvie Leveque  from Maisadour Seeds company obviously spoken well of the seed sector and trades that are found in this sector. And finally, there was Hervé  Eudes from Biolandes, whose business is the phytochemistry and extraction of molecules of industrial interest. Stakeholders have their show from 9am to 11am. A discussion fuelled by students ensued between students and enthusiastic professionals. The morning ended with a conference of the Scientific Director of INRA on Genetic Modified Organisms.
